Intro
What Qualifies as Consumer Mass Arbitration?
- Volume: Twenty-five or more similar demands for arbitration are filed.
- Representation: Parties involved share consistent or coordinated representation across cases.
- Fee Schedule: The Employment/Workplace Fee Schedule or Consumer Fee Schedule applies.
Expert Arbitrators: Our geographically diverse panel of arbitrators is experienced in resolving consumer claims and is unmatched in size and expertise.
Streamlined Processes: The Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules are designed to enhance efficiency, save time, and reduce costs in high-volume cases.
Fee Transparency: All parties receive a clear breakdown of potential costs before a case moves forward. Our phased fee structure aligns with key stages—initiation, process arbitration, and merits arbitration. If a case is withdrawn, dismissed, or settled early, parties are only responsible for fees incurred up to that point.
Non-Profit Commitment: The AAA keeps fees aligned with its mission of providing fair, effective, and economical dispute resolution.
